Tombs Meadow

Tombs Meadow is an agricultural meadow that is regularly used for grazing sheep. It is joined with the Ouse Valley Park on its northern edge, and Millfield on its southern edge. You can walk through Tombs Meadow to both of these other areas of parkland.

Don’t miss

Look out for sheep or other livestock grazing in the area. If you are walking your dog please be extra careful around grazing animals and keep them on the lead. We would recommend wearing footwear suitable for walking through agricultural land.

Tombs Meadow is floodplain so is prone to flooding; please be aware of this when you visit.

Getting there

Tombs Meadow is located on the western edge of Stony Stratford. It can be accessed by pathways off Mill Lane and the High Street, or from Millfield or the wider Ouse Valley Park. Nearest postcode: MK11 1AS.

Opening times

The park is open at all times.

Car parking

There is no designated car park for Tombs Meadow, however parking is available at the end of the Stony Stratford high street, within walking distance of the parkland.


There are no public toilets in the park.


There are no facilities available on site but the main high street of Stony Stratford is a few minutes’ walk away.

Disabled access

There is good disabled access at Tombs Meadow, with pathways around the park.
